Trench Art Brass poppy created by Martin de Ruyter, Nelson. “I use the tools passed down to me from my grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather to create stylised poppies from used brass bullet shells.” The inspiration for these trench art poppies was used in the 2014 World of WearableArt Bizarre Bra design finalist, High Calibra .303, created by Martin de Ruyter, Karen Stade and Troy Stade.
