This website is owned and operated by Craig Potton Gallery a registered company of New Zealand trading as Craig Potton Gallery (“we, us, our”). By purchasing products or using our website you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
No part of our website or its content can be reproduced, copied, reprinted, re-typed or modified without our expressed permission.
Pricing and payment
All prices on our website are in New Zealand dollars (NZ$) including NZ$ Goods and Services Tax (GST).
Prices are subject to change at any time. Payment is required at the time of purchase in NZ$ by Mastercard or Visa.
For international orders, please ensure you familiarise yourself with the exchange rates before placing your order.
Please provide a street address for shipping as we are unable to deliver to P O Boxes. It is the responsibility of the customer to supply accurate contact details.
If an incorrect or insufficient address is provided, there will be no replacement or refund provided. If a package for delivery is found to incorrectly addressed by us or our distributor, we will be responsible for the replacement or refund in NZ$.
Free delivery within New Zealand. For international orders, the shipping is calculated on a combination of our handling fee and freight based on the weight and destination.
IMPORTANT NOTICE for deliveries to the United Kingdom (UK).
Due to UK’s withdrawal from the European Union (EU) this has resulted in new enforcement conditions of Value Added Tax (VAT).
VAT now needs to be paid by the seller for consignments to the UK not exceeding £135. Books and maps are zero-rated so we can send these to the UK.
However, VAT applies to calendars and diaries and as we are not VAT registered, we are unable to send these to the UK as we cannot fulfil the VAT obligation.
Any orders we receive for calendars and diaries with delivery to the UK will be refunded in NZ$.
New Zealand standard delivery timeframes are two to five working days.
Allow three to six working days for rural deliveries within New Zealand. International delivery timeframes are dependent on the overseas destination. Please allow 14 to 28 days.
Because all international orders are sent via airmail, we have no ability to track and trace these deliveries. Please note, Covid-19 has resulted in longer delivery timeframes, globally.
Additional delays may be experienced over the Christmas period due to the volume of deliveries. Pre-orders (back orders) will be dispatched once stock is available.
Customs and duties
International shipping paid at the time of your purchase does not include import duties or taxes that may apply upon entry into the destination country.
Any import taxes or duties required by the destination country is the responsibility of the recipient. For orders with a delivery to the UK, the rules are different.
Please refer to the Important Notice under ‘Shipping’ (above).
Returns and refunds
Please choose carefully, as we do not offer a refund or exchange if you should change your mind. If a product arrives damaged, defective or is the incorrect product, please contact us within seven days of receiving it. To arrange a replacement or refund in these circumstances, contact us by emailing email@example.com quoting your order number, and providing your contact details, a brief outline of the issue, and an image showing the damage/defect.
We reserve the right to cancel orders where we believe the order to be fraudulent or constitute a misuse of a promotional or marketing activity or where an error has occurred including but not limited to errors relating to pricing. We will refund the purchase price in NZ$.
Website sales are subject to product availability. We endeavour to maintain accurate stock levels on our website, however, where your web order is accepted but the product is out of stock, we reserve the right to cancel your order and refund in NZ$.
We offer a pre-order (back order) facility for books and calendars due to be published. This facility is only available for 30 to 90 days prior to the book or calendar being available for dispatch. When placing a pre-order, your payment is required in full. Should there be delays with dispatch, we will notify you, at which time we will offer you the option of a refund in NZ$.
