This image is composed on a huge inverted triangle, creating a feeling of floating above the water, though it was actually taken on land. There is an unusual sense of the new day's yellow light pouring in from the left hand side of the picture as in most sunrises it obviously comes in strongest from the point of the sun's rising. I loved the combination of the lines of lenticular clouds and their dappled edges.
Taken on Asahi Pentax 6/7. 75mm lens, 100 ASA. Ektachrome film. Aperture F16.
