In this image evening light was bouncing off the sea and shells in the sand to refract up, under and onto this limestone cliff face. It seemed to need two images, which in fact overlap quite considerably. I moved a lot closer to take the left hand one, so much so that there is no shade in the sand but that doesn't seem to matter. Its consistent arcs of darker, more resistant rock lift the photo into something expressive.
