On overcast days after wet weather, moss expands and throws sparkling, dancing light-filled pulses of energy at the viewer. That is what this photograph is playing with. These mosses, combining with the tree trunks, lichens, ferns and leaves, have created walls with windows of green that I have arranged in a fairly classical composition, favouring the idea of dividing the picture frame into thirds.
