On an early morning in the Upper Tasman Glacier I was taking photos for the movie 'The Lord of the Rings' when I saw a band of mist that made the mountains (Mts Green and Walter) behind it lose their distant perspective and become a series of pyramids floating in the middle of this ethereal scene. Strong wedges of rock balance both sides of this picture equally. There are many shades of blue and not much else in this image.
