I have always loved Milford Sound for its radically steep-sided fiords and the distinctive central triangle of Mitre Peak. The composition is a given; and this photo is a celebration of deep blue and the easy enjoyment we get from reflective symmetries. I like the wisps of morning cloud burning away in the rising heat of the sun, which is yet to flood into the valley and illuminate the ocean.
