The trick to a photo of this nature, apart from planning to be there at the right time, is in having a solid tripod. Being a night shot on a slow exposure with a large telephoto lens, every slight movement is magnified, especially on a windy night. I weighted the tripod down and took the shot. The telephoto pulls the mountain and the moon together and closer, much as your mind does on such a magic night.
