Before 'the cut' was made in Nelson's Boulder Bank all boats had to negotiate the shallow waters and this prominent rock between the mainland and Haulashore Island. Several boats, namely the Fifeshire and Arrow and others floundered on this rock. I want to catch it as a spectre in soft light.
