Within the huge mosque at Cordoba there are arches upon arches. In quieter corners of the mosque there are meditative enclaves that still echo the great arches but in a more restrained space of contemplation. I was taken by the yellow gold glow emanating from this niche so warm and inviting in colour and form. I didn't want to use a tripod in the mosque hence my camera settings.
