This piece looks at people's inner qualities, that little something special we have that's not seen by most. Similarly, from a weavers perspective, so too does the harakeke bush, hidden inside some leaves lies the beautiful muka strands.
The harakeke/muka has been prepared, boiled and dried over time and then woven on a table loom.
