Kirsten Roberts (MDes) is a Tamaki Makaurau based artist, primarily working in oil paint on canvas. Roberts’ practice is rooted in contemporary figuration with a current interest in painting as a faith, a modern spiritual ritual, exploring colour, form, and symbolism within illusory visions of the world.
As Winner of the NZPPA, Glaistor Ennor Award, and Wallace Art Award runner up, Roberts’ paintings are held in various public and private collections here and overseas.
