This photo was taken on the same night as my popular Moonrise, Golden Bay image. All colours have nearly drained out of the sky, as it is very late, close on dark. It feels like a colour-field painting in that the two dense colours seem to pulsate gently in relationship to each other, broken by the strong horizon line.
Taken on Ashai Pentax 6/7. 75mm lens. 100 ASA Ektachrome film. Aperture F.11.
